The Kixby is a Modern Take on the Roaring 1920's

A historical hotel reimagined to take its place amongst New York’s finest boutique hotels. Located steps away from 34th street, The Kixby puts a luxurious spin on Herald Square hospitality.

Previously known as Hotel Metro, QNY was brought onboard to redesign it under a new name and style.

QNY's aimed to reposition the hotel taking inspiration from 1920’s New York City, during the Social Hour, arriving at a spirited atmosphere characterized by a timeless, playful and intimate nature and a modernized members-only club feel, with a mix of classic elements, such as rich hardwood and fluted dark wood paneling. Modern takes on traditional texture in plush fabrics like velvet and leather nod to the hotel’s past.

The rebrand welcomes respite from the “flag” hotels pretending to be boutiques. Showcasing all of the creature comforts for a convenient stay, and for experienced refined tastes as well as business travelers looking for alternative to “points” hotels.

Dapper, whimsical and a slightly rakish presence. Kixby takes inspiration from Englishman's Mr. Kixby and his spirit; its understated luxury blends Beaux-Arts splendor with clean, modern style that embraces and energizes guests from the minute they enter.

The result is welcoming and attentive. Never coy or pretentious. Cues taken from mastery of over 30 years of hotel culture give Kixby an authenticity and experience that is enhanced by a history that’s both intriguing and sophisticated - not fussy - for an experienced “refined” traveler.
