Inspired by a casual backyard garden in the East Village, the lush rooftop bar transitions to a new era, celebrating the culture and energy that surrounds the neighborhood and transforming from day to night. With a beer garden vibe, the lounge and seating have an eclectic and impromptu feeling, with a mix of different colors and styles. A collage of multi-colored crates have been assembled into shelving for the back bar. The bar itself has a metal top and reclaimed wood bar die—a material featured throughout the roof. A green wall has climbing vines that reveal a hand-painted mural by En Víu that pays homage to iconic historical figures of the counterculture, whose portraits are superimposed on a map of the East Village.
