Since 1818, the Willard InterContinental Washington, DC has played host to the world’s social and political elite. An iconic hotel, often referred to as the ‘Residence of Presidents’, The Willard has welcomed U.S. presidents, foreign dignitaries and celebrities, as well as has been the site of many historic moments in U.S. history for 200 years. QNY Creative worked with The InterContinental Willard to revamp the digital and physical branding presence for the historic property. In honor of a historic milestone that few hospitality venues have the honor of celebrating, QNY Creative crafted new branding collateral and a vibrant-yet-timelessly-elegant website to match.

The new Willard website and brand identity makes the perfect statement to accompany the hotel's 200-year legacy. Minted with scripted elegance and branded imagery that illustrates the iconic faces that have set foot within the Willard's walls, the collateral is refined with a stately presence. The new website breathes modernity into the brand, with a modular structure and prominent photography to show off the gorgeous, stately property interiors. The result is a winning combination of luxury and timelessness, a unique recipe for contemporary luxury and historic allure.
The Willard's iconic DC Bar "The Round Robin" also received historic update in the process. Nicknamed the “Oval Office of bars” by Conde Nast Traveler, the historic Round Robin Bar has been a lively meeting place for D.C.’s political and social elite since it was established in 1847.
