50 Bowery Influencer Staycation

50 Bowery is a boutique hotel perfectly situated on the threshold of Chinatown and the Lower East Side. It is inspired by the cultural crossroads of its prime location on Manhattan’s oldest street, Bowery, where diverse cultures have come together for centuries. 

Within the first few months of the hotel’s opening, 50 Bowery wanted to make its debut on the social media scene in a big way. They came to QNY Creative and we told them it would be a good idea to host a big-name influencer during NYFW in Fall of 2017. Without hesitation, they agreed, and we set them up with one of our favorite fashion bloggers Brittany Xavier aka Thrifts and Threads

The Staycation

The goal for this mini-campaign was to follow an influencer for an entire week at the 50 Bowery hotel. Brittany Xavier, who is better known on Instagram as Thrifts and Threadsdid an incredible job of incorporating the splendor and amenities of the hotel with her posh fashion week lifestyle. As promised, she delivered posts to her fans ever day of her stay, but went above and beyond by mentioning the hotel more interactively in her Instagram stories and her blog during fashion week, as well as enticing her followers to hangout with her on their scenic and spacious rooftop . 

50 Bowery pulled out all the stops for Brittany–this was very clear as it was reciprocated on her end, resulting in over 4 million impressions.

The famous Bowery area in New York City has been a cultural crossroads and hotbed for change for over three centuries.  With the switch to a digital lifestyle, Social influencers have become an effective way to connect to consumers to the brand while showcasing its benefits. 50 Bowery is a sleek 22 story hotel, conveniently located on Bowery near Canal Street, in the heart of Chinatown.  We want to choose an influencer to embody the spirit of the brand, and we had no hesitation to work with Fashion and Travel Blogger, Brittany Xavier. She is a social media trendsetter with a flair for fashion and a zest for life. By partnering with 50 Bowery, we were able to generate quality lifestyle photos that reflect the brand’s identity while raising awareness for the new hotel.
